The Queen's Jubilee Visit to Salisbury - 1 May 2012 Salisbury Celebrates the Diamond Jubilee S alisbury Celebrates is a free, family fun day being organised by Salisbury City Council on Bank Holiday Monday 4 June 2012 at Hudson Field from 2pm – 10 pm. Leader of the Council, Councillor Susan Thorpe said, “2012 is a year of celebration not only for the City but across the United Kingdom. Bournemouth  is a large coastal resort town in the ceremonial county of Dorset, England. According to the 2001 Census the town has a population of 163,444, making it the largest settlement in Dorset.
